Year of St. Joseph

03/29/2024

Pope Francis wrote an Apostolic Letter, Patris Corde, on December 8, 2020, establishing until December 8, 2021 the "Year of St. Joseph."

This year marks 150 years since St. Joseph was declared "Patron of the Universal Church."  Patris Corde means "From the Father's Heart." Pope Francis encourages us to Go to St. Joseph, who is a great example to us in faithfulness, devotion, and obedience.  St. Joseph is "the man who goes unnoticed, a daily, discreet and hidden presence," who nonetheless played "an imcomparable role in the history of salvation."  Few of us are called to become famous witnesses of God's love.  Most of us simply share the "Good News" through our daily acts of prayer, kindness, and silent sacrifice.  Go to St. Joseph and seek his support, guidance and intercession to help you along your faith journey.

To finish out the "Year of St. Joseph" we will be having small groups meet weekly in completing the "Cosecration to St. Joseph" by Fr. Donald Calloway.  Please click here to sign-up and/or reserve your copy of the book.
